Imparting Cultural Values thru Dance
Mysore-style Bharathanatyam and Indian folk dance — taught with artistic rigour, cultural pride, and deep love for the tradition. Serving the Washington DC area for over 32 years.
Natyabhoomi School of Dance was founded by Deepti Mukund Navile in 1994. Her sister Shruthi Mukund joined as Co-Artistic Director in 2001. Together they have built an institution that is both a rigorous artistic school and a deeply beloved community.
For students from the South Asian diaspora, Natyabhoomi is a second home — a place of sisterhood, cultural pride, and unapologetic celebration of Indian heritage.
